ABOUT US
Challenged to the Core (CTTC) is a
non-profit 501(c)(3)
religious organization that is making a difference in the health of
marriages across the country, one couple at a time. Whether we are
meeting with couples in small groups or in a larger seminar format, it
still comes down to each couple making a decision "to agree" to do
what's necessary to create, strengthen or protect their marriage. We
believe that God wants believers to "step-up" and "live out" their
faith through the sacred union of marriage. Too many times couples
start chasing after the things of the world without paying much
attention to
what God wants them to do.
CTTC
provides a variety of marriage resources
for couples to use to
improve their marriages. Currently our two trainers are the husband and
wife
team of Del and Kathi Brixey. As our organization continues to grow we
will
bring on more training and office staff as necessary. We offer motivation,
education
and what we call “enter-training”
(training that is entertaining). Each resource is designed to meet the
needs of
three types of couples: 1) those who want pre-marital training to
create a
great marriage from the start, 2) those that are married but know they
can
strengthen their marriage by overcoming some minor problems, and 3)
those that basically
have a secure relationship but want additional tips or safeguards on
how to
protect their marriage. We combine biblical principles, basic
personality
training and practical application so couples are better equipped to
face everyday issues.
Del & Kathi Brixey are the
co-founders of CTTC. They are
also the primary speakers and trainers. Along with their Board of Directors
they are developing plans to reach couples that are not attending more
"traditional" marriage seminars. Many couples because of financial or
time constraints are not getting the help they need. CTTC is dedicated to helping these
couples regardless of their situation. From church to church or house
to house they are ready to serve. Take a few minutes and read on to get

Del
is
a creative communicator who has a passion to help couples live
what he
calls a "Real-Life" marriage. In
addition to his 25 years of experience as a
pastor, Del is also a Certified Personality Trainer and Life Coach. He
believes that couples need to understand their own unique "personality"
so they are
better prepared to fulfill their God-given roles as husband and wife.
Audiences have
described his presentations as "moving,
talented, entertaining, practical and helpful".
Kathi is a
talented speaker as well. She has spoken at many Women's
Conferences,
Retreats and Teas. She loves to teach what a "Real-Life"
marriage looks like instead of the Hollywood version. Her skills as a
Certified Personality Trainer bring real depth to her Life Coaching and
speaking. Audiences say her presentations are
"gracious, moving and
genuine." Kathi loves
to help women find true peace, fulfillment, and joy in the reality of
how God designed them to be.
 Del
& Kathi have been married for 35 years. They
have three grown children who reside in Southern California. They make
their home in the community of Lake Arrowhead, California when they are
not traveling across the country inspiring audiences to take their
"Real-Life" marriages to...
"...A WHOLE NEW LEVEL."
