COMMUNICATION
Motivation, Education and Enter-training are
the key to what we do at Challenged to the Core. We want to motivate people to people to want
to make changes in their marriage, educate
them how "how-to" to make the changes, and "enter-train" them with practical
examples of how to apply what they learn into their everyday life.
Motivational or
Inspirational Events are short programs where couples are
challenged to
make the changes necessary to have a better marriage. These are
typically
“keynote” addresses for Worship Services or Special Events, such as a
Men’s or
Women’s Conference. These can also
be “public service” speeches that we do for Service Clubs such as
Rotary or
Kiwanis or perhaps some basic “personality training” for “public
agencies” like
a Fire or Police Department. Talks such as these build ties to the
community
which ultimately increases the scope and attendance of couples at our
marriage
events.
Education is a
natural by-product of everything we do, but it is definitely the
focus of our
weekly “e-zine” called “Pulse Check”.
Each week we publish
an “e-mail” that gives encouragement, ideas and gentle reminders of
things we
can “do
or not do” to improve our
relationships with our spouse, our children
or even those we work with during the week. We also produce our own
material
for our seminars and retreats, updating and adding material that we
constantly
discover along the way.
Enter-training is
the “Main Event” of what we do, whether it is in a large group seminar
or a
small group format. This is where motivation and education meet
“real-life”.
It’s where we are able to entertain and train couples on how to apply
the
principles that we teach. Couples are given instruction that is
biblically
sound, geared around the different personality types and proven through
over
thirty years of practical experience. It’s the “proof” of the pudding.
We use
“real-life” examples of how what we know, is proven to really work. We
have two
primary seminars that work in both large and small group settings. The
first or
beginning seminar is called “Every Marriage Needs a Hero”. Couples
learn that
God wants to be the number one hero in their marriage and how to
discover their
own “inner-hero”. Our second seminar builds on this concept by teaching
our
“heroes” about the “power, potential and passion” that God is able to
bless
them with. It’s like a basic instruction manual for marriage heroes.
Couples
leave with tools and plans on how to be the “hero” they discovered
inside
themselves.
At CTTC we
communicate to help people understand. Everyday we listen
to hear what's really being said so we can bring life to everyday
issues. Audiences need to have a sensory experience that's honest, open
and practical. They need the truth in a format where they can hear,
see,
touch and almost taste the concepts presented.
Check out the
information on the various Presentations,
Seminars and Retreats that we do. You
are sure to find one that will meet your needs. Please contact us if
you would like for us to develop
something special just for your organization. We'd be happy to assist
you in any way.
